Rix Hotel Motel

The staff were awesome, from checking in at the bar to the cleaners in the morning, the best I have ever come across. The had dinner in the restaurant for my wife’s birthday and it was one of the best experiences we have ever had. The cocktails were amazing. The food was exceptional. The staff were fantastic. We found out the owner was behind the bar as well. If you want an excellent experience go here.

Beautifully renovated older motel in the heart of Charters Towers close to all shops and eateries. Very good onsite restaurant in the Rix Hotel right next door. Also very central to all of the tourist attractions.

The property was a basic motel room, but comfortable a a long day on the road, as we got in a bit late we didn’t try their restaurant. Across the road was 2 takeaways joints and a bakery which had excellent

Location is in town, lovely restaurant at The Rix, other food options are nearby. After reading other reviews, I expected to stay in a dungeon but no! My room was lovely & modern, comfy double bed, hot water in a jiffy. It was excellent 👌🏻Ask for Room 9!

Jane and staff were welcoming and were always there to help if we needed anything. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and we will stay again next time we are in town.
